Barbara's Kentucky
This was created for a musician friend who moved to Kentucky to play Old Time music. This depicts scenes from Frankfort, KY, including the Capitol building, Daniel Boone's grave, Broadway with its train track, and the Singing Bridge. The musicians are John Harrod, Barbara Rosner and myself.

This was created for a musician friend, Barbara Rosner, who moved from California to Frankfort, Kentucky to immerse herself in Old Time music. The painting shows scenes from Frankfort, including the Capitol building, Daniel Boone's grave, Broadway with its train track, and the Singing Bridge, as well as my home in the country, and our dog Rudy, whom Barbara adored (thus, his size!). The musicians are John Harrod, Barbara Rosner and myself. The three of us played together frequently in our band, Kentucky Wild Horse, and our music can be found on Bandcamp and Spotify by searching on "John Harrod."
